CKD USA was incorporated in 1985 as a wholly owned
subsidiary of CKD Corporation, Komaki, Japan, with
the primary responsibility of providing sales and
technical support for the Americas. The company’s
main product offerings are pneumatic components, semi
conductor process components, indexing units, chillers/dryers,
and general-purpose valves. These products are utilized
in a wide variety of manufacturing environments, from
the automotive industry to semiconductor manufacturing.
Products were previously sold through a division
of Miller Fluid Power, Bensenville, Illinois, and
the Wilkerson Corporation, Englewood, Colorado. On
April 1, 2001, CKD Corporation divested itself of
both Miller Fluid Power and the Wilkerson Corporation.
At that time, CKD USA assumed full sales and support
responsibility for these product lines.
The ability to service our customers is the most
exciting opportunity presented by this divestiture.
The results have not been disappointing. The attention
and focus provided by our sales and support staff
resulted in yearly sales increases and an expanding
customer base. CKD USA’s distribution network,
combined with CKD Corporation’s manufacturing
capabilities, provides our customers with world-class
solutions delivered anywhere in the Americas.
