Model # UJETIII, U-Jet III

Cleaning Machined Parts in a washing solution with Controlled Cavitation. The U-Jet III Systems use a high-pressure water-jet - up to 1015 PSI - with a horn nozzle to create cavitation in a water washing solution with excellent results for cleaning complex machined parts.
The energy of the water flow around and through the component creates cavitation in the washing solution. The force generated by the impact and collapse of the cavitation bubbles disperses and removes all contamination and debris from complex-shaped work pieces.
Cavitation
The submerged jet of high-pressure water in the washing solution produces numerous, fine air bubbles that cause internal pressures to drop in the liquid below the saturated pressure, The force created by the collapse of the cavitation bubbles is effective in removing contamination and debris from the work piece.
Depending on the size and complexity of the part, the U-Jet III can run 30 to 100 normal cycles per hour and can typically accommodate 250,000 to 500,000 parts per year.
U-Jet III Systems are available to process larger and heavier parts and in applications with complex component requirements. U-Jet Systems can be integrated into manufacturing cells and transfer systems.
High-Pressure Water Jet Washing System with Controlled Cavitation.

The U-Jet III's triplex pump produces water-blasting pressure to 1015 psi and at a flow rate to 13 GPM through the work piece in a water solution. The cavitation created by the nozzle design drives the solution to flow through the tightest formations and thread-like passages with great force and turbulence to remove undesirable contamination to 0.01 mg. level to a reported "absolutely clean".

Selfeeders Accessories

Hydro Speed Regulators
Hydro speed regulators are designed to control the forward speed (feed rate) of the Selfeeder. Use of a regulator provides adjustable feed rates, faster cycle times, reduces burring, eliminates drill breakage, and prevents sudden forward surges at drill breakthrough. One regulator is required per Selfeeder for drilling operations.

Clamping Components

Universal Stands
The universal stand is a jig for fixing a round-body type Selfeeder at a desired angle of operation.

Level Clamps
Level Clamp is a jig for installating a round-body type selfeeder electric parallel with the machine base. According to the difference of the center height, 2 types are provided.

Standrill
To use a Selfeeder or Synchro-tapper universally, Standrill is a highly precise automatic drilling stand equipped with the up-down height adjustable function and head swing mechanism for flexible use.

Controllers
Measures must be taken to prevent the wear and fracture of the drill in such machining processes. Step-feed maching is the most effective way of preventing such problems.

Operate-Signal Kit
Sequence control by trip switch. The trip switch is a means of supplying an electrical signal to trigger operation of other associated machines. The trip switch unit is a standard attachment, but optional. It is a simple matter to make a converter circuit in which the electrical signal will trigger a pneumatic operation.
