The UniTorq "M" Series rack and pinion pneumatic actuator offers the industry's broadest line of pneumatic industrial valve and damper actuators on the market. Manufactured in 90º, 120º, 135º, 180º, 240º and 270º rotation, and there are 16 sizes to choose from.
Double acting units start at 100in.lbs. And go up to 37,200in.lbs. of output torque at 80 PSI. Fail safe, spring return models have output torque's of 17 to 15,600in.lbs. All units will operate from -10ºF. to 195ºF and from 20 PSIG to 150 PSIG input pressure. Optional high and low temp seals and bearings are available on all sizes.
All UniTorq rack and pinion pneumatic actuators can be easily and safely field converted from double acting configuration to fail safe spring return configuration by inserting the correct number of patented spring cartridges to the double acting unit. Thus, eliminating bulky housing extensions, saving weight and space. Specially designed, preloaded self-contained spring cartridges are completely contained before end cap screws release, ensuring for the safest design of installation and removal in the industry.

UTM Electric Actuators

The durable and versatile UTM Actuator is the result of the accumulated knowledge and drive for excellence established in over 22 years of valve actuator manufacturing. With a unique combination of a flexible, modular design utilizing proven electric actuator mechanics and the lastest technological enhancements, the UTM is ideally suited for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. UTQ 1.5,3 & 6 Series Electric Actuators
The UTQ 1.5, 3 & 6-Series electric actuator provides a complete solution for valve automation in applications requiring 600, 300, or 150 in. lbs. operating torque. Quarter-turn operation times are 45, 13, 8 and 4 seconds respectively. Control applications are not limited to on-off but also include modulating with digital microprocessor control. Housed in a compact package, the R-series offers extremely efficient performance. The high strength spur gears are permanently lubricated for a lifetime of maintenance free operation.
The UTQ 1.5, 3 & 6-series electric actuator enclosure consists of a durable composite polymer cover and a strong die cast aluminum base. A single 1/2" conduit entry provides access for all field wiring. The cover is sealed with an o-ring providing a weather-proof Nema 4 rating for protection from the environment. Standard features comprise two SPDT cam adjustable limit switches, field wiring terminal strip, motor brake and an easy to operate manual override. The neatly incorporated motor brake utilizes a highly reliable friction pad to prevent actuator back-drive.
The actuator mounting bolt pattern meets ISO F05 and ISO F07 standards. The male drive is .550" Square or ISO 14 mm.
Typical options available for the UTQ 1.5, 3 & 6-Series electric actuator include a variety of operating voltage in both AC and DC, reversible and unidirectional actuator operation, internal heater, addition SPDT switches, intelligent 4-20mA positioning board and a 4-20mA position feedback.
