Nylon (PA) Tubing

Nylon tubing is a best known for its high pressure rating and broad temperature range. Coilhose Pneumatics Nylon Tubing is extruded from high quality resin to close tolerances.

Polyurethane (PU) Tubing

Coilhose Pneumatics’ Polyurethane is extruded from high quality ether-based resin. This means that the tubing will not degrade over time when exposed to water. Polyurethane tubing offers increased flexibility, resistance to kinking and a broad temperature range. All our polyurethane tubing is 95A durometer and can be used with either push-to-connect fittings or hose barbs.

Bonded Polyurethane (PU)

Bonded Polyurethane Tubing or Multi-Color Ribbon (MCR) provides a cost effective method of routing two or more lines in a single run. MCR enable rapid identification of tubes for identification, tracing or troubleshooting. Constructed of 95A polyurethane, MCR can be installed faster than other jacketing options. MCR will withstand the rigors of flexing, yet can be easily separated for routing by simply pulling sections apart. Compatible with push to connect or hose barb fittings.

Polyethylene (PE) Tubing

Polyethylene is one of the most popular choices for low pressure tubing due to its resistance to most chemicals and solvents, good flexibility and economical cost. Our polyethylene tubing is extruded from high quality resin to close tolerances. Compatible with Coilock Push-to-Connect and Poly-Tube Fittings.

Polyvinyl (PVC) Tubing

PVC Tubing is clear, lightweight and non-toxic tubing that offers more flexibility than nylon or polyurethane. PVC tubing offers resistance to most chemicals and solvents and is able to be sterilized repeatedly. Our PVC Tubing complies with government regulations for hospitals and food processing (FDA Standards). Used in chemical, industrial, laboratory, medical, food and beverage industries. For use with barb fittings. Coilock Push-to-Connect fittings are not recommended.

Weld Spatter Tubing

Nylon tubing is a best known for its high pressure rating and broad temperature range. Coilhose Pneumatics Nylon Tubing is extruded from high quality resin to close tolerances.

Nylon (PA) Tubing

Weld Spatter Tubing is specially designed to operate in environments where sparks from welding and cutting are present. The unique jacket design protects the 95A Polyurethane core from damage, but will still ignite if exposed to flames.

D.O.T. Tubing

Nylon 11 D.O.T. tubing is Type A, Non-Reinforced. This tubing is ideal for connecting instrumentation and accessories to air brake systems.

FREELINWADE

If Inflexibility, cracks, and punctures have ever plagued your tubing, then it’s time for you to switch to polyurethane. PUR tubing provides excellent flexibility and resists the kinds of damage that can lead to dangerous leaks. Freelin-Wade offers highly versatile PU tubing in a range of sizes, configurations and hardness levels. No matter what your application, we have the right polyurethane tubing for your needs. Our inventory of PUR tubing includes an array of styles, including:

  • Polyurethane tubing
  • Static dissipative tubing
  • Multi-colored ribbon tubing
  • Purflex flexible hoses
  • Ribbon coils
  • Reinforced flexible hoses
  • Flexible coiled hoses

  • Fre-Thane® Polyurethane Tubing

Our Fre-Thane® PU tubing is available in a wide variety of colors, sizes and hardness values. The hardness value of PUR tubing is measured by the plastics resistance to indentation. Fre-Thane® tubing is measured on the Shore® A scale, which is used for harder plastics. The higher the number on the scale, the harder the plastic is for that product. For example, our Fre-Thane® 95A tubing is harder and more durable than our Fre-Thane® 90A tubing.

    Ester-based vs. Ether-based Polyurethane Tubing

From the user’s standpoint, ester-based polyurethane tubing is less expensive and provides slightly better fuel and oil resistance; however, it degrades more quickly when exposed to moisture. On the other hand, ether-based tubing also resists fungus growth and it also reduces the chances of deterioration due to contamination or brittleness. Chemically, both ester-based polyurethane tubing and ether-based Fre-Thane® tubing are made from different polyol alcohols that cause similar, but different, reactions in the isocyanate. Both products are commonly found throughout the industrial marketplace.

    Polyurethane Tubing Product Types

If inflexibility, cracks, and punctures have ever plagued your tubing, then it’s time for you to switch to polyurethane. PUR tubing provides excellent flexibility and resists the kinds of damage that can lead to dangerous leaks. Freelin-Wade offers highly versatile PU tubing in a range of sizes, configurations and hardness levels. No matter what your application, we have the right polyurethane tubing for your needs.

Fre-Thane® PU Tubing Features & Benefits

Freelin-Wade's PUR tubing exhibits a high resistance to abrasion, while being highly flexible and kink resistant. Fre-Thane® will stretch and flex but always return to its original shape; that’s the “memory” that makes our PU tubing extra special.

Nylon tubing, also known as polyamide tubing, can withstand higher temperatures and pressures than many other tubing options. It is often used as a substitute for metal because it is lightweight and corrosion resistant. This tubing is made from nylon, a polymer plastic made from repeating chains of amide groups that are bonded together to form fibers. Nylon 11 tubing is a unique kind of tubing made from polyamide 11. This material is known for its outstanding chemical, abrasion, impact, and moisture resistance and dimensional stability. Nylon 11 is used in industries ranging from food processing to auto manufacturing to robotics. Because it’s resistant to moisture absorption, Freelin-Wade’s nylon tubing is more corrosion resistant than other types of nylon tubing. It is heat and UV stabilized, making it resistant to stress-cracking, and so is ideal for use in outdoor applications with constant sun exposure. When compared to other nylon resins, our nylon tubing is also highly chemical resistant.

    Standard Nylon Tubing

We offer nylon tubing in a variety of stock sizes and colors, as well as custom nylon tubing such as coiling (see below), bonding of multiple tubes, cut-to-length, custom printing, and other options are available to meet your specific needs.

    Nylon D.O.T. Tubing

Freelin-Wade’s nylon DOT tubing is specially designed for use as airbrake tubing in heavy duty vehicles. Our Type A DOT tubing meets SAE J844 specifications and is available in a range of sizes and colors to meet your needs.

    Nylon 11 High Pressure Tubing

For using with high working pressures (up to 800psi), we offer special High-Pressure Nylon 11 tubing. Made from a special semi-rigid compound, this nylon tubing exhibits outstanding tensile strength while maintaining its flexibility.

    Super Soft Nylon 11 Tubing

Our Super Soft Nylon 11 tubing is formulated with a special compound that makes it even more flexible than our standard nylon tubing, without sacrificing other beneficial properties. Super Soft Nylon 11 tubes are ideal for using where media and environmental conditions make polyurethane impractical.

    Nylon Tube Mini Coils

With 2” integral pigtails on each end, our nylon tubing mini coils can be used with push-to-connect or standard compression fittings. Small coil diameters make this tubing easy to handle. It is ideal for use with small pneumatic tools and in robotics.

    Coiled Nylon Tubing

In addition to the large variety of standard nylon plastic tubing options we offer, Freelin-Wade also produces custom high-pressure nylon tubing that is tailored to your unique specifications. Sizes, colors, custom printing with any lettering or numbering you need, cut-to-length, and other options are available to give you the perfect high-pressure nylon tubing for your application.

Polyethylene tubing is flexible, lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant. Polyethylene tubing, also known as poly tubing or PE tubing, is an effective solution for a wide range of liquid, gas, and fluid transfer applications. PE tubing is FDA approved for food and beverage applications. Freelin-Wade offers linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) tubing, as well as our proprietary, extra-flexible Liquiflex POE polyethylene tubing.

LLDPE Tubing - Linear Low Density Polyethylene

One of polyethylene’s best features is its low cost; however, a low-cost tube often means a short lifespan. That’s why, many years ago, Freelin-Wade made the decision to only extrude our tubing from higher-grade, longer-lasting LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene). LLDPE tubing’s greatest advantage over standard low density polyethylene (LDPE) is its superior environmental crack resistance, or ESCR. Environmental stresses that can affect the longevity of LDPE tubing include chemical exposure, aging, connection to barb-type fittings, and high-vibration connections with compression fittings. Our LLDPE tubing can withstand 500-plus hours of exposure to IGEPAL solution, per ASTM D-1693 ESCR tests. LLDPE tubing also resists cracking when used with compression or push-to-connect fittings. All colors of Freelin-Wade LLDPE tubing comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520(c) for food contact.

    Liquiflex-POE Tubing

Freelin-Wade has developed a new polyolefin elastomer tube, called Liquiflex, that is ideal for conveying liquids and fluids in low-pressure applications. It provides all the chemical resistant properties of LLDPE tubing, and offers even greater flexibility than polyurethane. Liquiflex offers both of these outstanding properties in a single tube. Liquiflex is made from a polyolefin elastomer (POE) resin that comes from the same family of polymers as polyethylene and polypropylene. Like these other olefins, it is resistant to solvents and chemically inert; unlike those resins, it is an elastomer, making it highly elastic. If you bend it, kink it, or crush it, Liquiflex POE tubing will spring back to its original shape.

    Liquiflex Tubing vs. Polyethylene/LLDPE

Polyethylene tubing’s durability and low cost have made it a popular choice for many applications. Freelin-Wade’s linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is highly flexible, but it’s nothing like what Liquiflex can do. Variation options for Liquiflex includes coiling (it’s memory makes it excellent for coiled tube) and may be bonded to form multi-tube bundles.

Poly-vinyl Chloride (PVC) is possibly the most versatile product from the chemical industry. It's used extensively in construction from siding, to wire insulation, to window frames to pipe. With the addition of a plasticizer, the compound becomes quite flexible and an excellent material for clear tubing. Pharmaceutical manufacturers, food and beverage manufacturers and medical device manufacturers all rely on clear PVC flexible tubing for its efficiency, cleanliness, and longevity. Freelin-Wade's flexible PVC uses a non-DEHP, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this bio-based and environmentally conscious plastic tubing material.

    Clear PVC Tubing

Freelin-Wade’s non-reinforced clear PVC tubing is manufactured using a safe, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this environmentally-friendly material in the plastic tubing industry. Our clear PVC tubing features a smooth interior and exterior surface that prevents sediment accumulation and resists bacterial growth. It is FDA-approved for food contact, Cal Prop 65 compliant, and meets USPVI testing requirements. This makes our vinyl tubing ideal for food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, and other clean-critical industries.

    Reinforced PVC Tubing

Freelin-Wade’s reinforced PVC tubing features an open-weave inner braid, making it tough enough for applications with working pressures up to 250 psi. The smooth-bore, full-flow I.D. dimensions are sized to fit standard commercial barbed fittings. Our reinforced tube is crystal clear for easy monitoring of fluid flow. It has a smooth inner and outer surface that prevents sediment accumulation, and is bacteria and pathogen resistant. This makes it an ideal tubing solution for pharmaceutical, medical, food and beverage, and other clean-critical applications.

Our PVC Tubing Features and Benefits

Freelin-Wade's flexible PVC uses a non-DEHP, non-phthalate plasticizer. We pioneered the use of this bio-based and socially conscious material in the plastic tubing industry years ago. Freelin-Wade’s PVC has a smooth interior and exterior which prevents sediment accumulation, making it well-suited for the food & beverage, medical and pharmaceutical industries.

If you think that jacketing is something that would benefit you, give us a call. You'll be surprised to learn what all is possible and how cost-effective it is. Of course because it's Freelin-Wade flexible tubing, you know it will fit and arrive on time, every time. Worry-free plastic tubing.

    Spatter Guard SRT

Spatter Guard SRT (Spatter Resistant Tubing) is made from a 94V0 polyurethane resin that has been specifically formulated to resist against weld spatter without the need of an outer jacket. While this new tubing can be used in any application where you are currently using the jacketed version, it has a higher working pressure making it even better suited for industrial applications.

Weld Spatter Resistant Tubing - Jacketed for Superior Protection

No matter how diligent your facility and employees are about preventing weld spatter, it inevitably happens occasionally. Weld spatter can be very harmful to tubing. Fortunately, Freelin-Wade manufactures tubing that features a weld spatter-resistant jacket that protects the polyurethane tubing inside. The cover is approximately .030" thick and does not adhere to the inner tube, allowing the jacket to be easily skived back for fitting connection with conventional compression, barb or push-in fittings.

    Silcryn™

    NEWAGE
FLEXIBLE PVC TUBING AND HOSE - RIGID PVC PIPE

Although no plastic tubing product can universally handle all applications, the PVC family of products offered by NewAge® Industries covers one of the widest ranges of applications serviced by any one type of plastic material. Flexible PVC tubing offers a broad range of chemical and corrosion resistance, excellent abrasion and wear resistance, rubber-like flexibility, visual contact with the flow (clear pvc tubing and hose styles), and outstanding flow characteristics. These features, along with various construction options offered (wire or braid reinforcement, rigid pipe, unreinforced) and the different formulations available (fuel and oil, 3A, FDA, NSF listed), make PVC attractive for so many applications. These include general industrial, food and beverage, potable water lines, pharmaceutical and medical, chemicals, fuels, oils, and mechanical applications including protective coverings and insulation sleeving.

Stocked PVC products are supplemented with the capability to have a product custom made to fit your exact requirements. Most of NewAge Industries’ PVC tubing can be produced in custom sizes, colors, and shapes, and can be cut, printed, or thermally bonded.

POLYURETHANE TUBING AND HOSE (PUR or PU Tubing and Hose)

Polyurethane combines the best properties of both plastic and rubber. It offers abrasion and tear resistance, high tensile and elongation values, and low compression set. Polyurethane is naturally flexible and exhibits virtually unlimited flexural abilities. Combining good chemical resistance with excellent weathering characteristics sets polyurethane apart from most other thermoplastics. It has exceptional resistance to most gasolines, oils, kerosene, and other petroleum-based chemicals, making PU tubing and hose, also know as PUR tubing and hose, an ideal choice for fuel lines (although additives in today’s gasoline and petroleum products warrant field testing). The two basic formulations of urethane, ester and ether, have some important differences. Water attacks ester-based urethane, causing a significant reduction in physical properties. Ether urethanes exhibit far superior hydrolytic stability, especially in humid environments. Ether-based materials also resist fungus growth better than ester-based materials.

    NYLON TUBING

Nylon has been recognized as a rugged engineering plastic since its development by E. I. DuPont in the 1930s. Aimed as a substitute for metal, nylon’s light weight and corrosion and abrasion resistance have made it an attractive design choice. NewAge® Industries’ NYLOTUBE® is offered in the nylon-12 formulation and is typically used in various industrial applications. Nylon’s elastic memory is exceptional and can withstand repeated flexing over a long period of time without fatigue or fracture. This makes it a popular choice for retractable coils. NYLOTUBE also offers high-impact resistance, even at subfreezing temperatures, and low moisture absorption to minimize dimensional instability.

    POLYETHYLENE TUBING (PE Tubing)

Polyethylene (PE) has long been recognized as an engineering plastic that exhibits a high degree of inertness, making it attractive for use in markets such as food and beverage, laboratories, and chemical processing where leaching or permeability would present risks. Polyethylene is also one of the lower-cost plastic materials and satisfies many requirements that call for inexpensive, lightweight tubing. In fact NewAge® Industries’ polyethylene tubing is so lightweight, it floats. PE tubing handles a wide variety of applications ranging from potable water feed or drain lines to pneumatic or signal lines used in instrumentation. ZELITE™, NewAge’s brand of LLDPE tubing, is offered in a linear low density polyethylene formulation for repeated flexing with little or no signs of wear and for improved stress crack resistance (over low density material). The resin is non-toxic, 100% virgin grade conforming to FDA requirements. ZELITE is a standard in the food and beverage processing and pneumatic industries, and its semi-rigid nature allows it to be used with push-to-connect fittings without clamps. Polyethylene-lined EVA tubing (PE-LINED EVA) is a co-extruded product. The inner core of polyethylene is extruded first, then farther down the production line, EVA is extruded around the inner core. PE-LINED EVA is typically applied where different performance requirements for the inside and the outside of the tube are needed (purity inside, flexibility outside).

    POLYPROPYLENE TUBING (PP Tubing)

Polypropylene is the lightest of all thermoplastics available today, and like polyethylene, it will float. Other product features are excellent dimensional stability and electrical properties, good surface hardness and chemical resistance, and easy coloration. The combination of polypropylene’s properties makes it desirable for a broad mix of applications. In many areas where fluoropolymer tubing is typically used, polypropylene tubing can be employed as a relatively low-cost alternative. The high-crystalline composition also makes it good for use in structural systems. Polypropylene (PP) tubing is weldable and, when welded, can be used in non-fluid transfer applications.

    HYTREL® TUBING

At NewAge® Industries, application specifics often lead the way to tubing and hose developments. Performance needs are researched, and characteristics that are specially suited to meet certain tubing and hose requirements are produced. While Hytrel-lined PVC may not have as broad an appeal as our standard stock products, it is frequently required for particular applications. Hytrel-lined PVC is a co-extruded tubing. The inner liner of Hytrel is extruded first, then farther down the production line, the outer cover of PVC is extruded around the inner liner. This product is typically applied where different performance requirements for the inside and the outside of the tube are needed. For instance, the oil resistance of Hytrel may be needed for an application in a harsh environment, where the durability of PVC is well suited.

FLUOROPOLYMER TUBING & HOSE - PTFE, FEP, PFA

Fluoropolymers are some of the most versatile engineering materials known and, since their discovery over 70 years ago, have been used in nearly every field of modern industry, technology, and science. Their non-stick properties became commonly recognized by the consuming public when E. I. DuPont began marketing his “Teflon™” brand product for use on cookware, as a fiber treatment for stain resistance, and in other household applications. Fluoropolymer material is recognized for its excellent resistance to heat — up to 500°F continuously. Lesser known is its usefulness in extremely cold temperatures. It will remain reasonably flexible to -100°F. Because fluoropolymers are almost universally inert to industrial chemicals and solvents, their use for corrosion protection has become one of their largest growth areas. With few exceptions, fluoropolymer tubing can handle virtually any corrosive chemical in use today.

    TPR TUBING AND HOSE

Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) combines the processability of plastics with the flexibility and durability of rubbers. Typically more light weight and formable than rubber, TPR has been growing in acceptance for many usages over the last decade. TPR provides outstanding compression characteristics, making it an ideal peristaltic pump tubing. The material also offers excellent resistance to flex fatigue and tear. It maintains good flexibility to temperatures approaching -80°F. NewAge® Industries offers TPR in two grades to meet specific usages. The natural color FDA material is suitable for most clean needs, such as food and beverage or pharmaceuticals. Black-colored industrial grade formulation offers exceptional resistance to U.V., ozone, and other chemicals. It is well suited for outdoor use.

    VITON™ TUBING

Known for its resistance to oils and chemicals, this remarkable material retains its good mechanical and chemical resistance properties at extremely high temperatures better than any other known elastomer. Viton is also a standout material in its resistance to weather-related aging and ozone. In fact, samples weathered in direct Florida sunlight showed little or no change in properties or appearance after 13 years of exposure. Viton’s fluid resistance far exceeds that of most other synthetic rubbers. It is resistant to hydrocarbons such as benzene, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, and xylene — fluids that normally act as solvents on rubber, disintegrating the material; leading to tubing failure. Engineers looking for exceptional resistance to petroleum-based fuels, oils, lubricants, and mineral acids at elevated temperatures will often turn to Viton, because most other thermoplastics cannot meet the necessary resistance levels.

    SILICONE TUBING AND SILICONE HOSE

NewAge® Industries offers a broad line of tubing and hose products made from this versatile material, including platinum cured silcone tubing and silicone hose to ensure the least possible extractables. Our state-of-the-art, clean room is designed for manufacturing products particularly suited to medical and pharmaceutical applications. Also, our industrial grades offer exceptional performance at relatively lower costs. Silicone tubing has long been used for medical tubing, as it meets the medical industry’s requirements for cleanliness and non-toxicity. Another of silicone’s major features — resistance to extreme temperature variations — has enabled its use in applications where a flexible tubing is needed to handle temperatures not possible with other plastics or rubbers. A rubber-like thermoset material, silicone tubing and hose is extremely pliable and elastic, and it is not altered by the effects of weather. It generally exhibits inertness toward U.V., radiation, and ozone making it an excellent choice for electrically-associated applications.

    LATEX TUBING

Latex natural rubber tubing has been used extensively in the health care industry for many years. From there it has expanded into the food, toy, instrumentation, and sporting goods fields. Known for its extreme flexibility, latex is among the most flexible and elastic rubber materials in use today. Resiliency is another quality of latex tubing, allowing it to maintain memory after repeated bending, stretching, or pulsating forces. Latex also withstands repeated sterilization with either steam, Ethylene Oxide, or gamma radiation. There are no added plasticizers, coagulants, or fillers to migrate and contaminate the stream or cause tube hardening. NewAge® Industries’ latex tubing is processed from pure, liquid, natural latex and is made using a unique dip method. This produces a tubing that is seamless, uniform, and very smooth, providing maximum flow and minimizing the possibility of encrustation during use.

    NewAge Food and Beverage Hose

Beer and Wine Beverage Grade Butyl Hose and Food and Dairy Beverage Grade Nitrile Hose. ADI FreeNewAge Industries offers tubing and hose transfer solutions for the food and beverage industry. Both our Butyl and Nitrile Hoses contain pure, smooth liners to allow unrestricted flow, minimizing concerns associated with entrapment and blockage. Both meet FDA standards and contain microbe- resistant liners that will not impart taste or odor. Our Butyl Hose, constructed with a high purity white chlorobutyl rubber liner, is ideal for non-oily beverage and food applications including potable water, beer, wine and juices. Our Nitrile Hose, made with a high purity white nitrile rubber liner, is suitable for a wide variety of food and beverage applications including potable water, non-alcoholic beverages, juices, oily/fatty or dry bulk foods, milk, and dairy products.
